Abstract

Academic freedom, which is recognized in Colombia, allows the lecturer to choose the
method of teaching Administrative Law. Thus, the lecturer can decide to use the so
called “role playing”, in other words, the analysis of specific cases. The subject is then
analyzed as a fact and not only as an explanation of theories and legal concepts. This
seems to be crucial if we take into account two ideas: firstly, that Administrative law is
the way through which constitutional rules are specified and put into practice; secondly,
that the objective of any legal discipline is to be applied.
