This paper tries to explain the reasons, objectives, methodology, the execution
plan and the results of the Teaching Innovation Project entitled "Fundamental Rights and
Songs", which has been developed throughout the academic year 2017/18 at the
University of Huelva. This Project pays attention to the richness of reflections, debates
and situations that, having as object and reference the Fundamental Rights, are showed
intensely in artistic expressions such as music. Collecting and systematizing this musical
material through a collaborative work methodology is what this Project intends, in order
to offer law students a new and attractive way to approach the study of Fundamental
Rights, and a reason to promote the culture of Rights among the rest of citizens.
