In this paper I talk about how I have employed an interdisciplinary strategy
related to art and administrative law in a course of the Master of Administrative Law
and Public Administration of the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.
As the final assignment of the course the students were asked to write a short
essay making connections between a work of art of their choice (a picture, a
sculpture, a film, a piece of literature, a performance, etc.) and any of the institutions
of Administrative Law which had been considered in the seminar.
As well as promoting interdisciplinarity in Administrative Law, the
experience aimed to encourage students’ creative skills and to give a powerful end
to a course that had focused some topics of the discipline in an unconventional and
clearly exploratory way.
