Abstract

The objective of this article is to share the results of an educational research that measured the technological literacy of a group of students enrolled at the Intercultural University of the State of Puebla, installed in the Sierra Norte de Puebla, Mexico. A sample of 278 of their "indigenous" and mestizo schoolchildren answered the questionnaire "Perception and use of ICT". This amount represents almost a third (32.51%) of the total population registered in the second half of 2018. The results reveal that the individuals surveyed present a certain degree of technological illiteracy due to their incipient education in computer science.
