Abstract

Educational materials have varied considerably in recent years, resulting in new types of materials in different training scenarios. This, coupled with the use of resources in different contexts, such as school and home. From this perspective, this work is aimed at assessing from a technological, design, pedagogical and content point of view a selection of digital didactic materials for the Early Childhood Education stage housed in institutional repositories, on editorial platforms and applications, downloadable from any mobile device. Specifically, a total of eight materials are analyzed through an instrument designed ad hoc for the study. The results show that there is a wide diversity of resources aimed at children, both for recreational and educational purposes, which can be used at school and/or at home and are offered in institutional sources, platforms or publishers. The design of the resources is careful to respond to the psychoevolutive characteristics of the children through varied contents and with a different pedagogical depending on the material. Ultimately, it is necessary to continue analyzing resources from a holistic approach and to continue betting on teacher training for the identification, selection, adaptation and creation of resources for their classrooms.
