Abstract

En la actualidad, existe un creciente número de investigaciones sobre la
importancia que tienen las TIC en el ámbito educativo y social. Este progresivo
interés ha generado un amplio volumen de trabajos científicos con diferentes
metodologías y resultados, siendo en muchos casos contrapuestos los
hallazgos obtenidos entre los diferentes estudios. En este sentido, las revisiones
sistemáticas, metaanálisis o estudios bibliométricos permiten a los
investigadores recopilar y sintetizar los datos alcanzados en los diferentes
trabajos a través una metodología rigurosa y explicita en la que se asegura la
calidad de las evidencias a través de una evaluación crítica. De esta forma,
este análisis sistemático permite sacar conclusiones de un amplio número de
trabajos secundarios, y por lo tanto con un mayor número de muestra, lo que
hace que los resultados sean más generalizables y basados en la evidencia
científica.
