Estrategias para desarrollar la educación mediática en primaria: propuesta de actuación

Abstract
Lacompetenciadigitaldesempeñaunpapelfundamentalenlaformacióndelosestudiantesactualmente.Sólotenemosqueconsiderarquelatecnologíaesubicuaenlavidadelosestudiantesytambiénensusrutinasdiarias.Lasescuelasdebenplantearsecómoimplementareintegrarenelcurrículolatecnologíaeducativa.Laalfabetizaciónmediáticaserefierealconocimientoydestrezasqueelalumnadodebeadquirirparapoderanalizar,evaluarycrearmensajesmediáticos.Esteartículotratasobrealumnadoentre8y11añosquenotieneformaciónmultimediaprevia,yaprendelobásicosobrelacompetenciadigital,asícomoelimpactoqueesaformacióntieneensuprogresoacadémico.Dadalaedaddelamuestra,lasdestrezasmediáticastrabajadasnohanidomásalládelastecnológicas,aunquealgunashabilidadesevaluadorasycríticassehanpracticadooralmente.Losresultadosmuestranquelosestudianteshanmejoradosignificativamentesusdestrezasbásicasytambiénsuconocimientosobrelosmedia.Sinembargo,nopodemosconcluirqueunaformacióntancortaybásicaimpactesuprogresoacadémico.
