The Development of Reflective Competencies through E-learning in the Training of Educators and Teachers E-learning and Reflective Competencies in Future Teachers
Main Article Content
Abstract
The new technological challenges, the process of conceptual and methodological change faced by schools, have once again highlighted the importance of E-learning in the need to promote educational strategies that involve greater student autonomy. Under this approach, the objective of this innovation project was to establish educational strategies to promote digital and reflective competencies in Education Science students, future teachers. The students in the intervention group received training with active and interactive methodologies, focused on the development of reflective competencies using digital platforms and spaces related to their subjects. The results show that the intervention was effective in improving reflective and digital competencies in the innovation group, who showed higher averages of digital competencies compared to the control group. The conclusions highlight the need to reflect on the positive use of virtual spaces and networks to stimulate critical and reflective thinking in future teachers, emphasizing the need to promote similar projects that contribute to acquiring competencies to promote autonomy and self-directed learning.
