Abstract

The contributions of the monograph, ‘Audiovisual Spain: reflections from cinema and series’, explore how Spanish cinema and series reflect the historical, social and political evolution of the country. Through a transdisciplinary approach, works from NO-DO to Streaming Noir are analysed, showing how these productions contribute to the collective memory and adapt to global audiences. This monograph highlights the aesthetic and narrative richness of Spanish works, thus encouraging reflections on contemporary dilemmas and their cultural impact.
