Call For Papers Volume 14 (2025)

Dear research community,

We are pleased to inform you that UcoArte. Revista de Teoría e Historia del Arte begins its period of reception of articles for Volume 14 (2025). From January 14 until May 31, 2025, we will be receiving all manuscripts through OJS. The journal is open to topics related to the fields of art history, art theory, heritage and interdisciplinary studies. To submit a paper, as well as to follow the review stages, it will only be necessary to register on the platform and comply with the submission rules:

We kindly remind you that, in order to be able to evaluate the proposals, the authorship sheet of the article and the completely anonymised draft (including the author's name in the properties of the files) must be uploaded to OJS, with the figures and captions inserted in the body of the text, in the corresponding place. We also recommend uploading the images in .jpg or .tiff format, as well as the anonymised list of figures in word format.

We are writing this announcement to let you know that the period for receiving articles for Volume 13 (2024) of UcoArte. Revista de Teoría e Historia del Arte is open. Until May 15th we will be receiving submissions related to Art History and Theory, Heritage and Interdisciplinary Studies. In order to send us the originals and follow up the different phases of evaluation, we would like to remind you to register in the journal's OJS platform, where you will be able to upload all the necessary files to start the editorial flow. We have made available a video with a step-by-step demonstration of the whole process in the "about/submissions" section.

From January 12 until June 30, 2023, we will receive all original papers through OJS. To send the article, as well as to observe the follow-up phases, it will only be necessary to register in the platform and follow the indications of the same. Dialnet Metrics has positioned in C1 level UcoArte. Revista de Teoría e Historia del Arte in the fields of Art History and Art. In the field of History we are in C2 level https://dialnet.unirioja.es/metricas/idr/revistas/24204

The journal occupies the eighth position among the 42 Art History journals; the seventeenth position among the 134 Art journals; and the one hundred twenty-seventh position among the 299 History journals https://dialnet.unirioja.es/metricas/idr/revistas/24204.

These data have been published in June 2022, based on the latest Dialnet metrics calculation of 2021.

Without the support received from the research community, this result would not have been possible. 

The new issue will be published shortly and we will open a Call For Papers to receive original papers.
