Abstract

This article aims to present new works attributable to the Malaga sculptors Mateo Gutiérrez Muñiz and his son, Diego Gutiérrez Toro, who maintained a family workshop dedicated exclusively to sacred art in the city of Malaga, from the end of the 18th century and until the entire 19th century, providing it with a large quantity of sculptures, altarpieces and even restorations of sacred pieces.
