Main Article Content
Abstract
The Flora peruviana et chilensis was published after decades of work by the Botanical Expedition of Ruiz and Pavón (1777-1788). There is an extense process of research and drawing after each of the botanical prints published in the Flora. In this paper we will study for the first time the LXXVII print from this publication. The aim of this work is to understand how a botanical print is made, from the recollection of natural materials to the engraving and printing process for the Flora.
