Poetics of a postmodern craftsmanship. Reinterpretation of ceramics in the work of Paloma de la Cruz: references, creative processes and new contributions to the study of her figure
Main Article Content
Abstract
The artistic production of Paloma de la Cruz (Malaga, 1991) cannot be exclusively framed in one discipline. Her work blurs the boundaries established between sculpture, craftsmanship, drawing, architecture and even performance. Her innovative and avantgarde creative procedures have granted her, in addition to numerous awards, a space in the collections of the Centro de Arte Contemporáneo de Málaga, the Genalguacil Pueblo Museo and the Diputación de Cáceres, among others. This article will address the content, message and form of her work, as well as a review of the bibliographic and digital sources currently available for the academic study of the artist.
