Abstract

The main objective of the study was to determine the impact and translation method that receives the American lexicon of herbal material taken from the work of Nicholas Monardes (1508-1588) and his work:, Primera y segunda y tercera partes de la historia medicinal de las cosas que se traen de nuestras Indias Occidentales, que sirven en Medicina (1574, Sevilla: Alonso Escribano), in the bilingual dictionaries Spanish-European languages of the centuries XVI-XVIII. We will study the author and his work, and describe the type and classification of Americanisms.
