Biorizon Biotech, biotech R&D and circular bioeconomy as a lever for growth
Main Article Content
Abstract
A growing world population, increasingly demanding consumer demands, climate change, the European strategy of the "Green Pact" and the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, push us to seek models of sustainable, profitable and productive agricultural production.
Biorizon Biotech was born as a biotechnology company focused on the production of natural biostimulant and bioprotective solutions, based on the use of microalgae and bacteria as natural and valuable raw materials, becoming the world pioneer and market leader in the production and commercialisation of microalgae-based products for agriculture.
As a response strategy to the challenge of a new and modern sustainable agriculture, Biorizon Biotech has based its development on intensive R&D focused on the development of circular economy processes, new chemical substitutes in agriculture and the use of natural tools to improve productivity.
