Abstract

This note shows as Calderon use political elements in the creation of his comedies specifically in one scene of El mayor encanto, amor. In this way, Calderon introduce some important political concepts in this play such as dissimulare and simulare, which help us to complet de structure of the play even when they don’t justify a political interpretation.
