Peer Review policy
To begin the evaluation process, all articles must align with the journal's thematic focus and comply with the style and content guidelines detailed in the author instructions. After verifying compliance, the editorial team will send the article to two anonymous reviewers, recognized experts in the field of study, who are independent of both the editorial team and the publishing institution. The progress of the evaluation can be tracked at any time through the platform; therefore, the journal Docencia y Derecho is not obligated to provide updates on the status of the submission. Articles will be evaluated for possible publication through a double-blind peer review process. Authors will receive notification of the review results, which may include acceptance of the article for publication, rejection, or a recommendation of revisions with detailed guidance for further review and potential future publication. For an article to be considered definitively accepted, it must receive approval from both reviewers. If substantial discrepancies arise between the reviewers, a third reviewer will be consulted to provide a final decision. The scientific management will ensure at all times that the quality and rigor of the publication process are maintained, guaranteeing that review reports are always constructive and useful for the authors.
