Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The text complies with the bibliographic and style requirements indicated in the Guidelines for Authors, which can be found in the Submissions section.
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF format.
- DOI references have been added where possible
- Where possible, URLs are provided for references and the date of consultation is indicated.
- The author(s) guarantee authorship of the documents they submit, including both text and images. If the work has significant contributions from more than one author, they must be listed as co-authors. All authors meet the journal's authorship criteria, register their name and email address with the manuscript submission, and no author is omitted from the submission process.
- The author(s) guarantee that they have the rights to the images presented in their work, as well as having made use of the right of quotation, complying with the Intellectual Property Law.
- The author(s) declare that they are free of any personal or commercial association that may constitute a conflict of interest in connection with the submitted article, and that they have respected the ethical principles of research.
- The text meets the length requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which can be found in the Submissions section.
- The submission has not been previously published or submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- A summary and keywords have been included in both Spanish and English.
- The text has single line spacing; the font size is 12 points; italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are within the text in their proper place and not at the very end.
