Abstract

The development of the Administrative Law by the scientific community in Colombia is
relatively new. It is possible to propose the existence of a legal school of thought in
Universidad Externado due to the fact that the teaching activity of this subject is based
on a very intensive and strong research activity. Researchers there started to reconsider
traditional theoretical constructions and proposed innovative tools in order to make
learning process easier. These new tools of teaching and learning imply scientific
accuracy not only selecting topics but also identifying learning goals.
