Abstract

The common values of the social economy, such as the primacy of people
and the corporate purpose over capital, democratic and / or participatory
governance, the reinvestment of most of the benefits to ensure the long-term
sustainability of the company, the Providing services to its members and local
communities, they actively contribute to social cohesion and, therefore, to
innovative, intelligent, sustainable and inclusive growth, in addition to the
creation of quality employment in Europe in particular. And it is these values
that must be exercised as a whole to disclose. The work of implementing these
values rom the educational-university level implies, in many cases, to note that
they are implicitly included and in others that their explicit treatment is
necessary. The Canary universities have been working on teaching innovation
from the social economy and this issue has to be highlighted in a transversal way
even if their quantum demands to insist more on this subject.
