Advice of a mother to her daughter: translated into spanish by the comtesse of lalaing
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper deals with a translatological analysis of one of Mme de Lambert’s most important treatise on education. In this tract, she advises her daughter how to behave to gain the respect of others leading a virtuous life. First of all and previous to the analysis, we study the historical-social context of this salonnière and the influences of the great classic and coetaneous philosophers and thinkers’ influences on her work. Finally, we tackle the translatological analysis.
