La sátira en Gulliver's Travels: versiones de la Parte IV
Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of my paper is to discuss the social and political environment which was the target of Swift's scathing satirical narrative, Gulliver’s Travels. More specifically, I am concerned here with Part 4 where he launches a biting attack against the human kind, culprit of sort of moral corruption. His fiction subverts the role played by the abominable humans, the Yahoos, and the wise, innoceñt horses, the Huynhnhms. Then I review some of the most relevant Spanish translations of the work, which differ somewhat in the versión of some passages.
