Abstract
In this article I study the relations between Russia and Spain, both on a historical and a cultural level, and with the relations both countries entertain with the Islamic world. Startlng from the first contacts of both peoples with the Islamic civilization, 1 discuss the evolution of both cultures, influenced by the Islamic Arabic contribution, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
