The teaching of Administrative Law faces the constant challenge of overcoming an excess of theoretical abstraction, which at times limits students’ ability to connect legal concepts with administrative reality. This article presents an innovative teaching experience developed at the University of Ferrara, focused on the use of active methodologies such as the flipped classroom and collaborative work, with the aim of fostering students’ active participation, critical thinking, and applied understanding of Administrative Law. Through the analysis of practical cases in specific sectors (such as healthcare, environment, or immigration), the transition from the general to the particular is encouraged, establishing a direct link between theory and legal practice. The article presents the pedagogical foundations, methodological design, preliminary results, and the potential for replicability of the experience.
