Abstract
Este estudio recupera la figura de la escritora francesa Renée Lafont, prolífica traductora de escritores españoles durante el primer tercio del siglo XX hasta su muerte en la guerra civil. Su voz ha estado silenciada hasta ahora en la Historia de la literatura –si bien su papel fue esencial para el conocimiento de la literatura española moderna en Francia– por dos razones: su actividad como traductora además de su condición de mujer
