The Translation of Political Texts between Chinese and Spanish A Three-Dimensional Approach
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes the translation of "Xi Jinping: The Governance and Administration of China" into Spanish, applying the principles of three-dimensional transformation and eco-translatology. Representative cases are selected to examine how accuracy and appropriateness are maintained in the translation of highly relevant political texts. The comparison reveals that the translator follows principles of adaptive selection and selective adaptation, focusing on the linguistic, cultural and communicative dimensions. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of the theory of three-dimensional transformation and eco-translatology in the translation of specialized texts, thus expanding its interdisciplinary application.
