  • - AI tools cannot be listed as authors in publications of Hikma: Translation Journal.
  • - Authors must disclose the contribution of AI in the "FUNDING OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS" section, specifying each and every task for which it was used.
  • - It is not necessary to disclose the use of AI tools when they are employed for text correction purposes, provided they are used solely to enhance readability, improve manuscript style, or correct grammatical and spelling errors. While AI may assist in refining writing, it must not be used to generate content. Human authors are fully responsible for ensuring that the final text is original.
  • - Reviewers of Hikma: Translation Journal may not use AI during the manuscript review process, as this could jeopardise the intellectual property rights of the authors.
  • - Hikma: Translation Journal employs available tools to detect the use of generative artificial intelligence.
