Abstract
This work analyses the meaning of wine in medieval German lyrical poetry. For this purpose, we will establish a corpus of texts in which wine is present and, by means of its study, we will determine the function of this term in German lyrical poetry from the Middle Ages and the terminology used to represent the different manifestations and symbologies that appear in this kind of lyrical poetry. Special attention will be paid to Minnelieder, in which wine plays a significant role.
