Trauma, sexo y cuerpo en Fleabag de Phoebe Waller-Bridge (2016-2019)
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present research study aims to analyze from a critical perspective the acclaimed television series Fleabag, written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge and directed by Harry Bradbeer. To this end, I will be contemplating from a psychologist perspective the influence the trauma of losing her mother and her best friend have on the protagonist's mind and body, affecting her family dynamics, and sex-affective relationships. Feminist critical theories on the body by Susan Bordo and Adrienne Rich; and theories on power relations by Michel Foucault will be referred to within this critical analysis.
