Issues discussed include: the main stakeholders and companies requesting language services; the genres most commonly translated; the regulatory and legal framework; relationships between the pharmaceutical industry, the healthcare system and translators; and attitudes of freelance professionals when seeking work (companies, rates, expertise, etc.).
