Abstract

This paper aims to explain how to do a Lexicon for the translation of medieval German Minnelieder and religious poetry, and its relation with another compositions of European cultures. We will select the study of the proper terminology within the Medieval erotic alba (Tagelied), the crusade song (Kreuzlied), the woman song (Frauenlied), religious poetry (Marienlieder, Hymnen), drink song (Trinklieder) or May song (Mailieder) and another European poems (p. ej.: chanson de femme, chanson de croisade, aubade/alba, alborada, cantiga de amigo, himnos, etc.), with a glaring influence in the development of this kind of lyrics.
