Abstract

Nowadays, comparative law is used as a working tool to strengthen and expand other theoretical disciplines located within the perimeter of law as well as out of it, among which translation studies are included. This paper is aimed at analyzing comparative law from a practical view, applied to legal terminology and its translation from Spanish to English and vice versa, by studying some specific cases of a documentary corpus.
