The 2025 regular issue of Transletters brings together research that explores translation from diverse and contemporary perspectives. Topics include the representation of colloquial language in young adult literature, the translation of paratextual elements in religious texts, and terminological analysis of olive oil labels using digital tools. The volume also presents didactic approaches to translation problem typologies, as well as studies on the marginalisation of interpreting in Spanish university degrees. Further contributions examine the translation of taboo language in film voice-over and investigate gender effects on interpreter style in institutional settings. These articles reflect the interplay between theory, practice, and technology in modern translation and interpreting.
