Additionally, all published content is available at no cost to users or their institutions, with no registration requirements.

The adoption of this model aligns with the journal’s objective of facilitating knowledge dissemination and promoting research, fostering a global exchange of scholarly information. Furthermore, it reinforces the commitment to equity, inclusion, and accessibility in academic publishing. To sustain this open-access model, the journal is funded by the University of Córdoba.

In this context, the journal meets the criteria of the Diamond Discovery Hub (DDH), verified by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) within the framework of the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH), which certifies its alignment with European standards of quality, transparency, and open access without costs for authors or readers.

Likewise, PSE is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), an international index that recognizes journals meeting rigorous standards of editorial quality, transparency, and open access.
